How to: peel a pepper

Make your own roasted, peeled peppers with our easy step by step instructions.

These peppers are fabulous in the Meshwiya style salad in the November issue of Fresh Living magazine.

  • Step 1
    Cut peppers in half and remove the stalks, seeds and white membrane.

 

    • Step 2
      Place peppers skin-side up on a baking tray and under a hot grill until the skin blackens.

     

      • Step 3
        Place in a plastic bag or in a bowl and cover with clingfilm. Leave to cool.

       

        • Step 4
          Remove from the bag and pull the skin off the peppers.
