  • Cut a square hole in the lid of a old ice cream container.
  • Place it next to your bin in the kitchen.
  • Throw all your old old batteries, ink cartridges and CFC light bulbs into this container.
  • Take it with you to your nearest Hypermarket and place it in the recycle bins they provide when you go shopping.


Notes:

Some regular PnP stores have bins too, if not ask the manager if the branch can get one.

Try to empty your container at least twice a year as old batteries can start to leak and the acid can burn you.

If you have small children in the house, place the container in a cuboard where they can't reach it.
