The Good Food Studio isn’t just about our love for food and sharing that passion with you. It’s about doing it in a really delicious way. We make sure that we start with the best ingredients, sourced both locally and abroad, and then we cook and bake them in style—using SMEG appliances and the most cutting-edge cooking studio any foodie would want.

One of the most exciting things about the Good Food Studio is our commitment to showcasing the best local and international chefs, who will share their unique flair and passion for cooking with us. We’ll bring you the latest cookbook launches and give you a chance to meet the authors, and hold special classes with the chefs so that they can share their culinary skills. We have a standard curriculum as well as other classes that change according to what’s hot in the food world right now.

When you arrive in the Good Food Studio, you’ll be met by our lovely receptionist and have the chance to spend a few moments in the pause area, sip on a coffee from our in-store Vida Café and browse our library or quickly browse the internet for some last minute inspiration.

There are a number of venues for cooking classes, depending on the individual needs of the class. The auditorium will be used for demonstrations, while the smaller classroom that holds 8 to 14 students will be used for intimate, specialised classes, and the larger classroom which holds 12 to 24 students will be used for more informal, relaxed sessions. There’s also a sleek and sexy wine room, perfect for cellar launches, wine tastings, and cognac and whisky pairings.

And then there’s the formal dining area—looking out over the river and able to seat 20 people. This is a private, screened-off area that’s the perfect spot for students to discuss the class that has just finished or enjoy the food they whipped up right next door. It’s also ideal as a space for breakfast clubs, book clubs, tea parties or girls’ nights out. In the coming months, the Good Food Studio will play host to product launches, food shoots, director’s lunches and any other occasion where good food and style meet.
