My Prize Baby terms and conditions

• The My Prize Baby Competition (‘the Competition’) is conducted by Pick n Pay and is open to all legal residents and citizens of South Africa except directors, members, agents, employees and immediate family members of any employees of Pick n Pay, its advertising agencies or advisors.
• To participate in the Competition, all entrants must submit a photograph of their baby taken within the last 12 months, in jpg format.
• All photos submitted must be of babies within the age group 0–4 years (up to and including 4 years).
• Only parents, legal guardians and grandparents may enter the Competition, and only a photo of their own child/grandchild may be submitted.
• Entrants to the Competition may enter only 1 (one) photograph per category. Entry to the Competition is free of charge.
• Copyright in all images submitted for the Competition remains with the respective entrants. By entering the Competition, each entrant grants Pick n Pay licence to feature any of the submitted images in any of their publications, on their websites and/or in any promotional material connected to the Competition.
• The Competition commences on 13 February and closes on 4 March 2012. Pick n Pay reserves the right to extend or reduce the Competition period as necessary, in which case, due notification will be given.
• The prize of the Competition is 1 (one) hamper of PnP Real Baby products per image gallery category. There are 5 (five) image gallery categories.
• Prizes are not exchangeable for cash.
• The winner within each category will be chosen by a panel of Pick n Pay judges by no later than 12 March 2012.
• Winners will be contacted via email by 14 March 2012. Pick n Pay reserves the right to disqualify a winner if he/she does not respond to this email within one week of winner selection and randomly select a replacement winner from the Competition entries. In such circumstances, the replacement winner shall be contacted via email by Pick n Pay as soon as reasonably practicable and shall be required to respond to Pick n Pay in the manner set out in such correspondence. In the event that the replacement winner fails to respond to Pick n Pay as required, then the provisions of this clause shall apply to that new winner in the same way as if he/she were the original winner.
• All participants indemnify Pick n Pay, its advertising agencies, advisors, suppliers and nominated agents against any and all claims, damages or loss howsoever arising, including but not limited to wilful misconduct or negligent act or omission arising from their participation in the Competition.
• Pick n Pay will not be held liable for any misinterpretation of the prize, rules and conditions or any specific part thereof.
• By entering the Competition, all participants agree to be bound by these rules, which will be interpreted by Pick n Pay in its sole discretion. Its decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
