Method
  • Heat a glug of oil in a small pan and fry spices until they begin to pop.
  • Place spices, oil and remaining ingredients, except yoghurt, into a blender and blitz until smooth.
  • Season and stir through yoghurt. Allow to stand for 30 minutes for flavours to develop.
  • Puff poppadums in the microwave or over a gas flame.
  • Garnish soup with coriander and serve with poppadums.
