Method
  • Preheat oven to 180°C
  • Place pears in a baking dish
  • Mix together jam, grated orange peel, orange juice and ginger and pour over pears
  • Dot pears with butter, place in the oven and bake for about 20-30 minutes
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream, cream or custard

 

Hints

  • Replace pears with apples
  • Use marmalade, peach or fig jam in place of apricot
