Method
  • Cream the butter well.
  • Beat in the condensed milk until combined.
  • Sift the flours and baking powder and add to the creamed mixture.
  • Mix well.
  • Add the eggs, glycerine, vanilla, oil and water and mix to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased and base lined 23cm cake pan and bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan for 5 minutes before turning out on to a cooling rack.
  • Top with your favourite icing when cool.
