Method
  • Prepare a direct fire
  • Cut the hamburger rolls in half and spread generously with the blue cheese dressing
  • Grill the patties until cooked through and remove from the grill
  • Baste patties generously with the peach chutney
  • Assemble the burger by first placing the lettuce and rocket on the bottom half of the bun, followed by the patty. Then top off with the tomato, some more rocket leaves, onion rings and top of the bun


Tips

  • Blue cheese can be substituted with a sauce of your choice
  • To make cheese burgers, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty during the last few minutes of cooking
  • For a vegetarian option replace beef patties with vegetarian patties


Tomato and strawberry salad:

  • Rinse the strawberries, hull and quarter
  • Halve the tomatoes and season with the garlic & herb spice
  • Line a salad bowl or plate with the watercress
  • Scatter the tomatoes, strawberries and olives over the watercress.
  • Dress the salad with balsamic vinegar and the crumbled feta cheese
