You'll love this recipe for mango and chilli chutney lamb chops served with fresh grilled white asparagus and radish herb salad.

Method
  • Rub meat with salt and pepper
  • Grill the chops on the braai over medium heat coals, for 4-6 minutes
  • Turn the chops and brush with the chutney
  • Cook for a further 3- 4 minutes, depending on thickness
  • Turn once again and brush with the chutney
  • Remove from the grill and allow to rest

Grilled white asparagus salad


  • Place the asparagus on the grill (let them soak up the juices from the chops)
  • Season with salt and pepper and remove
  • Be careful not to overcook them as you want them to be crunchy
  • Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice over the asparagus 
  • Toss in with the salad leaves
  • Season with salt and pepper if necessary 
  • Thinly slice the radishes thinly 
  • Wash the baby herbs thoroughly, handle them with care
  • Toss all ingredients together and drizzle with olive oil 
  • Serve with the juicy lamb chops
