Method
  • Prepare a direct fire and grill the steaks, wors and burger patties.
  • While the meat is cooking, combine the sauce ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix the filling ingredients.
  • When the meat is cooked halfway, place the pitas on the braai to heat up, turning them once.
  • When meat is done, slice the steak and wors into thin slices and cut the hamburger patties in half.
  • Cut each pita in half and spread generously with hummus.
  • Stuff the pita with meat, until it is about ¼ full.
  • Add the veggie filling and finish with the sauce.
