Method
  • Cook pasta according to packet instructions. Drain, set aside and keep warm. 
  • Heat a glug of oil and fry sausages over a medium heat until browned and almost cooked through. Remove and set aside. 
  • Cook onion until soft, then add garlic and fry for a further minute. 
  • Tip in purée, sausages and herbs and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes, adding a splash of water or wine if needed. Season well. 
  • Serve sausages and sauce over warm pasta with a scattering of parmesan and torn basil. 
  • *10ml PnP Cook Additions garlic paste equals 2 chopped cloves.
