Method
  • Fry onion in a little oil to soften
  • Add all ingredients, except lentils. Top up with enough water to submerge chicken.
  • Season and simmer for 45 minutes, then add lentils and cook for a further 20-30 minutes, until chicken is very tender and lentils have cooked.
  • Serve chicken and vegetables with broth as gravy
