Method
  • Preheat oven to 180°C
  • Place spareribs and stock ingredients in a roasting pan
  • Season and cover with water
  • Cover and bake for 1.5 hours
  • Remove ribs and allow to cool
  • Blitz onion, garlic paste and spices in a blender until smooth
  • Brown in oil and add remaining ingredients
  • Simmer for 5 minutes. Season.
  • Spread satay sauce over ribs and grill, until well browned
