Method
  • Boil quinoa in water for about 8 minutes, or until just cooked.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • Heat milk in a saucepan with vanilla pod and cinnamon, until just about to boil.
  • Add quinoa and apple and cook for 5 minutes or until creamy.
  • Add a little extra milk or water if needed.
  • Dollop into serving bowls and top with blueberries and flaked almonds.

Cook's tip

  • Any fresh or thawed frozen berries will work well in this recipe.
