More than customer service…

A Pick n Pay manager brings customer service up a notch to make a disgruntled customer's frown turn upside down.

Pick n Pay recently advertised a certain item which was well below the normal price. I tried to get it from several Pick n Pay stores without success. “No stock,” I was told. Eventually Pick n Pay Montana promised to inform me in the event that the stock arrived.

During a visit at the shop a week after, one of the managers, Peter Reen, asked me if I needed assistance. I told him I was waiting for this item, but after a week it was still out of stock. He promised me the stock would be there within three days.

On the third day, I was surprised to find Peter at my door at 19h30 to deliver the item I ordered personally. He said Pick n Pay can't afford to lose customers because of unavailable stock or poor service. This is what I call OUTSTANDING SERVICE! Thanks Peter.
